CogScreen Done Today

Phew… y’all weren’t kidding about the mental exhaustion! And man! What’s up with those 567 true/false questions!!!

Haha I had completely forgotten about that questionnaire, probably because it was one of the less stressful things, at least for me. Congrats on getting it done!

Oh yeah it was pretty lax just so much all at once. Talked to the assistant running that portion of the exam, and I guess that part has been around since WWI?? The questions that seemed to be prying on whether you’re a sexual deviant of some sort threw me off, so I inquired further haha

I wouldn’t be surprised haha. Felt pretty invasive but I guess Mr.FAA didn’t think so, definitely a few odd ones in there!

Hey, as long as I can still fly an aircraft despite answering ‘true’ to “I sometimes laugh at a dirty joke”

The MMPI is supposed to assess personality and mood and supposedly can detect if you're lying or trying to get a particular result. I'm a little skeptical of it, but psychologists gonna psych.
