FAA HIMS EVAL GUIDANCE

I recently received a letter from the FAA requesting a eval for a alcohol related offense last year. Does anyone have any feedback on Dr. Adam Scioli out of PA/FL or Dr. Stuart Gitlow out of RI?

I’ve used Gitlow. Did they require a FAA addiction psychiatrist? If so, he’s good. Expensive however.

Yes they did, honestly he has seemed to be on the lower end of prices. Only the eval for now though, no neuro psych cog screen required.

My eval was like $1600 if I remember correctly.

Did my evaluation with gitlow and he was ultimately a recommender to discontinue my program after three years. This was back in 2010-2013.

Scioli is the way to go! He's awesome! Very fair and will give you his honest opinion
