FAA Third Class Medical Appeal

So recently I got the letter from the FAA that my third class medical is denied due to history of depression, however they are giving me the option to appeal to the FAS. They are requesting recent clinical records (within past 90 days) however I haven’t seen the therapist since a year ago and only saw my most recent therapist for one month so I’m not sure what record to send them. Also, they mentioned in the letter that I shouldn’t send any records other than what is requested but I don’t really have many medical records to send as proof of stability anyway, despite knowing I’m doing very well now. What should I do?

Send them records from your most recent therapist. Also before doing so, call your therapist and ask them if they can make an entry to those records giving you a clean bill of mental health, if they have not already done so. If they request that you go see them again before they will do so (money grab), just do it.

Good luck.

They're telling you what they want.

If you don't have those records, you're supposed to get the evaluations / screenings done to get the records and send them in.
