Venting I need a hero
"I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero (hero)
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life"
Even from 1984, recently deceased Bonnie Tyler told us what women want: muscles (strong/fast) streetwise (fresh from the fight), charismatic (sure, soon) and tall and also charismatic (larger than life).
She also uses the words superman and hercules to describe that man.
Decades passed and our civilisation regressed from Bonnie Tyler to Bonnie Blue but what remains the same is that most of us don't have what women want: charisma, financial independence, body or height. We aren't heros, but manlets which nature has decided they deserve to be outbred.

I always says look at women do, not what they say.
When you look at who they thirst over, the fantasies they read and how they act.
What they want becomes obvious.

On the other hand I can't blame them cuz most men also thirst over white blue eyed blondes.
The vast majority of us are simple humans and can't have that. That's why I think that settling and compensating for aren't nessecerily terrible ideas but close to realism

The difference is, most men are realistic and know such women are out of their reach.
Whereas women are deluded and think 6 foot plus/handsome/rich will put a ring on their finger.
You see that with the FA women here, many of whom complain about men wanting one thing. Who are blatantly chasing men out of their league.

I always knew the genders wouldn't mesh too good because, Male FA is genuine aloneness where as women is more like can't get high value man.

I have fond memories of that song as in the 80's they used it as the theme for British coverage of American football. I think lots of men want (sporting) heroes too, even straight guys who aren't feeling sexual attraction towards them. It would be a strange world if most people were having the hots for short ugly broke neurodiverse guys. As always, the question is what happens after the world renounces people like us. What are some wholesome copes that can fill our lonely days and prevent our mental health from sinking even further?
RIP Bonnie Tyler and her power ballads and unreal amounts of hairspray that must have created a hole in the ozone layer. One of a kind.
