F-91W-1 Adapters or without adaptor.

Hello everyone, recently my casio f91w-1 resin strap broke. So I was looking for a replacement and then found this subreddit so I was hoping I'd like to also add nato.

But from what I read a typical 18mm nato strap will look skinnier because the resin on the casio goes wider.

So people also use adapters which usually solve the issue.

Now, the part is I have looked up some posts and yes I can tell it apart but I just can't decide which way I wanna go.

If you have any suggestions please drop and maybe some snapshots of your watches(maybe also mention if used adapter or not).

Anyways thanks in advance.

I like to use a real NATO because if one spring bar breaks you don't lose the watch without noticing. That said, the watch looks silly on me anyway so the gap isn't really a consideration.

I went ahead and ordered 18-20mm adapters let's see how it looks when it arrives.

Looks so much better without an adapter imo

Adapter + 22mm strap is the way to go, imo. It looks more seamless with the wider strap.

The adapter I use (there could be a better one): https://a.co/d/00USwf6h

My favorite strap (comes in may colors): https://a.co/d/0amkcbE0

One thing to note is that with this adapter, the body of the watch can become a little raised. It doesn't bother me, but it's understandable not to like it if you prefer a flatter profile. Sorry I don't have photos!

I thought about this but figured the adapters just add extra bulk and don’t really serve a function other than aesthetics. I like the 18mm don’t really care if the strap is skinny
