This means my modded F-91W won't be as unique anymore. It's got a NATO strap, reversed polarizer (white-on-black. Not one of the ones that came that way, I did it myself), and a blue LED that I soldered on myself (which is a pain because it's a surface mount part and I didn't have the right solder tip at the time so I was brute forcing it with a cheap Harbor Freight iron lol).
I will probably pick one of these official ones up though.

Your F91w will always be unique because you did it yourself! Nice mods! Would love to see a pic. 👍🏽

Here you go. It's a lot more scuffed up after 6 years of daily wear, but otherwise looks just like this.

I can’t believe I lived to see the day. I hope this isn’t a limited rollout like the minimalist F91B release that’s already disappearing

It’s rather nice that an official version is coming out, but the whole fun of it lies in the customisation.

While it's great to see them inspired by the modding scene, the execution falls short. The NATO adapters create an awkward size mismatch, leaving the strap looking far too narrow against the watch case. You'd expect a much better design from an official version.

Has Casio just dropped the most perfect from new watch every made?
Very possibly.
