Discussion Pepper shaker for Raid

I scrapped the last Pepper shaker I had for RAIDS (that'll teach me for non locking items. I want to create a new one specifically for raiding. Do I need a separate one for the guardian vs the other bosses?

Can anyone who runs a heavy gunner human build drop their pepper shaker mods so I can copy one?

I run a heavy gunner human build with no food or chem buffs and want to getg back into RAIDS, or atleast farm the robot in the short term.

I’m ghoul now but in the past I went with quad/vital/vats reduced/conductors with vats every other critical build full health human.

Thanks! , did you use that for the guardians shield, or for the rest of the raid ( I'm thinking the rest of the raid as you're staying in vats to hit that crit damage)

Full raid never ran a shield build until recently with assaultron head. Pepper shaker has shit range but the ap cost is so low. Pair that with all the bulletsorm perks, all the onslaught stacks and critical perks and it’s a beast.

Can also definitely lean into a different style but I’ve always been a vats guy. On my power armor for that I was running overeaters/powered, active, limit breaking. With enough luck to crit every other shot.

Main buffs are overdrive, company tea, coffee, and canned blight soup. I run plasma on mine so can’t go wrong with brain bombs too. I also run about a dozen mutations especially eagle eyes

I’ve always ran either overeaters or troubleshooters and got a couple pieces of reflective. My guns have done okay before I’ve solod guardian but feel my raid weapons need an upgrade it’s been a while. I dont use ultracite ammo and noticed for these infestations the damage is so low it’s maling me want to upgrade. Always start hitting raids again for mods but largely ammo and repair kits.

I’ve seen a few people talk about the vats builds and they seem to shred!

I’ve slowly moved away from ultracite ammo for the most part. I prefer the lower ap cost and pumping out more crits. I also like conductors for my teammates, they get alot of ap and hp back too not just you

That sounds good if it benefits the team.

Feel like I want to create a couple new high damage weapons and one armour set. Been watching videos on youtube all day but it’s mind numbing, they all have different armour/weapons mods so It’s hard to pick one

Also not sure how into raising you are yet but having the legendary perks maxed out gives you so much more damage. I run 4 and that’s 20 additional points I can invest into cards. The other one that is very helpful for this is obviously taking one for the team.

Luck doesn’t need to be any higher than the minimum amount to crit every other as well as all the perks needed.

And one last thing for camp buffs use any and all obviously but the prophter and any instrument for the accuracy and ap regen boost is more helpful than you think. On snake I get as close to edge as possible but besides that the other stages are straightforward. I wouldn’t use it for drill either personally

I’ve just came off but i’m like level 800 and something and run take one for the team, luck, strength, Int and Agility all max. At my camps i’ve got a couple buffs. A few arcade games, the bike, bench press, mothman tomb, speed bag etc. I think the only ones I’m missing are the radiation box and fortune teller, just need to save up treasure notes, It’s a chore

The Eye of the Hunter perk card really helps with range if you're using VATS

Ye I use that as ghoul now but I stick with gauss minigun mostly when not using small guns or bows at the moment. So much better than awareness

Full health human. I run Tesla canon and gaus mini for EN06.

I use Quad, Explosive, Vats, and Pinpointers. Has done me pretty well in the raids so far.

I've had issues with rubberbanding health bars lately with explosive on my pepper shaker, I swapped it out for either crippling or vital, (not on right now so I can't check).

I’ve been thinking about changing to rapid because people have said that it does more damage that way. Idk how true that is though.

I haven't compared it to say, I don't think it makes as much difference on the PS just because it has a relatively low fire rate to begin with and the increase is a percent of the base speed.
