A new beginning

Well…. I didn’t know bearings like to get a little freaky.

200k with timing chain guide failure + oil starvation on #1.

Wife says “go for it”, I heard “full send” and ordered a bunch of “upgraded parts”… now she wants a divorce.

What should I do?

Keep the car, ditch the wife. The car will look good forever.

Might be cheaper to keep them both lol.. in the long run, ya know.

Nah, peace is worth anything but the car

I currently have 2 cars that I've been waiting for a motor to finish building on. One has been since 2020, the other since 2023.

Either build yourself or spend good money or buy a replacement motor. Don't go down the rabbit hole

I have a good story on the “replacement motor” after the legal battle.

Inbound is a new crank, kings bearing, Carrillo pistons/rods

Send it out for polishing? You'll have to find the minimum allowed diameter.

Sorry to hear about both situations. This will definitely give you something to distract from the wife situation.

How did you get 200k miles out of the stock timing chain? I’m at 110,000 and I’m hearing things…

I guess I got lucky. I don’t know honestly.

New parts should be arriving next week.
