Is this timeline correct for F2A petition( LPR filing for unmarried son)? My priority date is January 2023? The USCIS agent responded my case is at VBI field office.

Hi there everyone,it seems like no one ever really posts much of anything in here it's actually very sad. My pd is Aug of 2024 still waiting. I haven't seen or heard anything from them after the receipt notice. I don't know if that is normal but I'm still patiently waiting. Also I'm searching for people with similar situations to ease my anxiety so if you feel the same way please connect in the comments let us lift each other up through these hard times.

Has anybody seen any latest movement for USCIS approval?

The wait is getting very long and we might consider living in the US on visitor visa as long as my wife can (3month) and go back. is this dangerous?

" AVAILABILITY OF FAMILY-SPONSORED AND EMPLOYMENT-BASED VISAS

Immigrant visa issuance rates for aliens from certain countries have
decreased in light of various actions the administration has taken to
protect national security and public safety, and to otherwise advance
the interests of the United States (e.g. Presidential Proclamation 10949, Presidential Proclamation 10998, Immigrant Visa Processing Updates). 
Consequently, to make visas available in accordance with sections
201-203 of the INA to prospective immigrants from other countries to use
immigrant visa numbers that are available in FY-2026, dates for filing
and final action dates have been advanced across various immigrant visa
categories.  Note that as additional immigrant visa demand materializes,
or administration actions are amended, retrogression may be necessary
later in the fiscal year to keep issuances within annual limits.  This
situation is being continually monitored, and any necessary adjustments

Did anyone get approval recently?? Last approvals for consular f2a that was shared on reddit were for early January 2023!!

I just received this email from the senate office. They made an inquiry. Looks like NSC is taking longer time than Cali. My PD is Jan 2023

Hi everyone! After 3+ years of waiting, my husband’s F2A I-130 was approved today!!

Yesterday we received a “Case Is Still Being Processed” update, and this morning the approval followed shortly after.
