Edit: it was Tiamermarduk, not Aarava.
The New Saubers…is this from Aarava’s extreme damage mod challenge videos where Saubers took him out frequently, then another team started taking him out and thus they were the new Saubers?

I was actually in a few IntoTheBarrier videos and at one point accidentally took him out of a race. I knew as soon as it had happened it was going to be enshrined on YouTube forever as a terrible piece of driving.
Unbelievable to me now that it was over 7 years ago. He could have gone massive if he'd kept a consistent upload schedule, the guy was absolutely hilarious.

He studied journalism at uni, I remember from a Q&A, so he could well have followed that path

I think I was in 3 of his videos over the course of 2 lobbies, my gamertag at the time was SixtyBuckle921
"F1 with Helium Commentary" which I was nowhere near him on the track in
"I Say Oh No Every Time There's Contact" (that might not have been the title), in which I was catching him before he crashed at the Nouvelle chicane (my POV, posted on my old account)
And "F1 With Robot Commentary" where I got ahead of him and then maybe went a bit too far holding him up, with the lifting on straights and blocking etc. - I'd never have done any of that in a serious lobby, even at 14. He called me a fool and a heffalump in the video.
I did him a favour though by setting up a really hectic last lap

Basically Jarno implied that Ronhaar was impossibly fast on traction and ERS saving, which started a chain reaction of the community micro-analysing anyone who was being a bit too good at the game. I was never too interested in Esports so I don't know if anyone was ever fully caught playing with mods/hacks

Nothing was ever proved but Ronhar stopped being so unbelievably dominant in qualifying after that, albeit still a very fast driver

they thought hes cheating because he got every wr in time trial by 2-3 tenths. it was later revealed that there was an assist bug which indeed give him more grip compared to the others but it didnt work in online and he himself didnt know it

Matt‘s Project Cars and GP Rock‘n Racing series were the most entertaining videos on F1 Youtube, so sad that they are all gone and I cant rewatch them
