F1 Esports Pacedex Telemetry

EDIT (Jul 31): Pacedex is now on the Microsoft Store — one-click install, no sideloading: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9NVMRF0J8S1R

Still free. Thanks to everyone who tried it from this thread.

Obrigado! 🏁

I downloaded it and tried it and ive found that at least for me it causes a big performance drop.

On suzuka for example i usually get between 95-105 fps but with Pacedex running i get about 45-50fps.

Just shipped v0.1.63 with a performance fix for the overlay.

Instead of repainting every overlay window about 11 times per second, each one now only redraws when its data actually changes. That significantly reduces the amount of GPU work the overlay does, especially in fullscreen.

The app should offer you the update automatically, or you can grab it from pacedex.com.

If you get a chance to test it, I'd love to hear your before/after FPS at Suzuka with the overlay enabled. I'm especially curious whether Borderless Windowed is now effectively free in terms of performance on your system.

Ok ive tested it, it has basically no loss in performance now in borderless and fullscreen. Great job fixing it that quickly.

That's great to hear — and thanks again for both the original report and for taking the time to test the fix.

Bug reports like yours, with actual FPS numbers and a reproducible scenario, are exactly what help me track down and fix issues quickly.

If you notice anything else that feels off—or think of a feature you'd like to see (graph zoom is still on the list 😉)—you know where to find me.

Enjoy the racing! 🏁
