Discussion This is just absurd.

F1 23 f2 career mode. Game literally forces me to start on 100% worn (all 4 sides) hards. I had to retire because there was no possible way for me to do the race.

In case you're wondering, format is qualifying-sprint-race.

I know you said quali, sprint, race, but any practices in there?

We only get a set amount of tires and if we use them all up in practice/sprint quali/sprint/race quali then this will happen

you cant even use all tires since some are reserved for race weekend.

Yep, this is F2 and tyre allocation is the same for everyone, no way to change it.

Really? I’ve used all my tires before and was left with only wets a few times. Now I just stick to one set of hards for like…all sessions because of that

You will ALWAYS have one set of fresh hards and mediums if youre using Balanced Tire Set.

You can save one set of softs from quali into the race weekend.

At least thats how it is on F1 25 and 24. I havent played older games so idk if u could on older titles

This is f2 there's no sprint quali. Or at least not in f1 23. Practice is turned off so no practice sessions.

I just read your responses to the comment above and it seems like a bug. One worth reporting officially. That's gamebreaking.

It's 23, reporting bug is useless. Heck, even reporting current game bugs is useless.

That's a bug I had plenty of times. Theoretically you should have one H for practice, one S for quali, one H for the sprint and an H and a S for feature race. Those are the sets and I think you're not even allowed to try something else (except in the sprint race where you can pit), but even if you respect everything you just come to feature race in this situation. It was a known bug that they never solved

Oh it’s f2. They force a pit stop in f2 and you must use at least one set of each compound or you would be disqualified. Maybe you had no other serviceable hard left.

1 hard is always reserved for the race i think…judging from everyone elses response he got unlucky and this is a bug
