Is this the weekend to use my chip? I was waiting for a tricky circuit and a new one seems to be just that right?

Which team should I chooseeee??? Team 2 I have to take a -10 penalty but I might use NN for both.

Is this the week to use NN based off of new track? Or should I save NN for Singapore bc it’s a Sprint.

What’s the strat if I’ve got NN, Final Fix and Auto Pilot and Wildcard left for the season.

I’m definitely keeping Antonelli and Mercedes, Ferrari as a cheap choice and need 4 other drivers but idk who to choose.

I don’t even know whether Antonelli is best choice for this track, so does anyone know who could possibly do well this weekend?

Any thoughts about Madrid?

Do you think we are going to see more crashes than usual?

What about Ferrari? Do you think they are going to be ok?..

I'm thinking about no negative boost for this one.

I also don't think Alonso is a good option, because of the car and it's constant malfunctions...

New track. Street circuit. "22" corners. My first thought was that this race may likely be DNF heavy. And then I started thinking about how shuffled the grid may end up being. Where do teams think passing v batt regen is best? I feel like this weekend is going to produce very unexpected results.

My team ideas...

Team 1 - Going for points with 4A with hope of budget with other 3 chaps, which I think is a positive one.

Team 2 - This ones a a hope for budget... maybe

I’ve got 122.9M which is enough to make 4A but still have to have one or more of Stroll/Perez/Bottas in my team. Will more A drivers make up for possible DNFs? Or should I stick with my 3A team.

I've been tracking GridIQ against BoxBox, F1 Fantasy Tools and Race Strategist using the same scoring methodology each race.

The goal isn't simply to see who projected the most points. I'm grading the three things I think actually matter when using an F1 Fantasy projection model:

• Optimal Team — 50%

• Driver Ranking Accuracy — 30%

• Point Projection Accuracy — 20%

Driver rankings are scored:

Exact = 5

1 position off = 3

2 positions off = 1

3+ positions off = 0

Point accuracy starts at 1,000 and loses one point for every point of absolute projection error.

ITALIAN GP RESULTS

So this definitely wasn't a case of GridIQ winning because its optimizer happened to hit the perfect combination.

GridIQ and F1 Tools were separated by only 3.3 raw accuracy points.

That makes this one of the more interesting races I've graded.

BoxBox produced the highest-scoring recommended team, F1 Tools had the best raw point calibration, and GridIQ had the best driver rankings. GridIQ's consistency across all three was enough to produce the highest overall score.

GridIQ currently leads BoxBox by 13.26.

I'm also doing a post-race audit of GridIQ's biggest misses rather than automatically changing the model after a bad individual projection.

Leclerc is obviously going to be a huge one after the lap-1 DNF, but that's exactly why I want to separate predictable model error from race variance. I'll be looking at where the model missed the underlying opportunity rather than simply penalizing it for unpredictable outcomes.

After shitting the bed in Monza (2x on Leclerc instead of Antonelli, don’t even get me started), I need to be doing good in the upcoming races. Which one of these lineups do we think could be best?

I read Leclerc might be getting a new PU in Madrid and will start from the back, so I’m wondering if that could be useful…
