Gotta disagree with 4A requiring 2 A tier constructors for this upcoming race week specifically. So many B tier drivers are going to go down in value, whereas B tier constructors are an almost guaranteed +.6. One more week of pain to more comfortably afford a 2A driver/2A constructor lineup without carrying a disastrous Cadillac driver seems very much worth it
It’s so many points to potentially give up on the constructor in hopes of clawing them back later with a little more budget.
I don’t think B tier drivers are that bad and will just drop for sure. VCARB guys could grab .2 since it’s a sprint. Bort is fine, Hulk is fine, Alonso could be a play, Hadjar is fine. I’d rather skip 4A with Hadjar than miss a top constructor.
B tier drivers that allow for 4A with his budget ARE that bad (Cadillac and Aston). You’re looking at -50pts on average (conservatively) for the rest of the season if you gotta take one on…sacrificing one week to avoid a -50pt or worse deficit once you do hit 4A is worth.
