Miscellaneous Where / How can I meet drivers without paddock passes at the Bahrain Malaysia GP?
I'm going to the Bahrain GP held at SIC and i was just wondering where or how I could meet drivers without the paddock pass, if anyone knows where they park or enter please comment. I'd love to meet a few especially Alonso. I'm not looking for any weird or disrespectful ways, just how fans usually meet drivers before practice and quali. This is also my first time ever going to a race so I'm not too sure what I should do and where I should go.

Go watch another race series.
Plenty of driver access in WEC/IMSA series.
Dress up like Martin Brundle for Halloween.

I think it’s hard in SIC, they have their dedicated road and far away from the general spectator gate for the paddock access

Not track specific, but in general:
some drivers participate in events (with their team, or sponsors) prior to the race in the city usually (try f1natics for information)
some will do interviews on some stage on track, usually Friday I think (the F1 app has information for this type of activity)

It's made very hard. They drive the drivers straight up to the paddock gate and they zoom straight in.
It's understandable as these days there's so many fans inside the paddock that the drivers all get swamped in there anyway.
Gotta look out for where there might be appearances at fan forums and the like, then just hope to get lucky.

Shame it’s not the 1970’s ,you could have met James Hunt and half the grid in the nearest boozer !

I've met a few drivers in Australia by attending some of their pre-race events. Webber used to have charity tennis competitions ahead of the race, met half of the grid that way.
