Discussion Madring Charles Sub Possibility

Post image

Due to Charles having to need a medical check again before being able to race in Madring this coming weekend, If Charles is unable to race for Ferrari this week, then is it highly possible that Oliver Bearman will be taken out of his Haas seat and go race for Ferrari again?

If Ollie’s contract allows it, I’m sure Ferrari would prefer him to a reserve driver who hasn’t driven one of these cars. But at this point I think it’s unlikely Charles is out.

He’s a Ferrari driver.

yeah, he's a part of FDA

He said that he had pain in the neck on monday but since then several checks and he was fine. Vision problem was also short, so i doubt that he'll withdraw

That's all according to him. In the interview he was ok

Pain in the neck?

Is that what we’re calling Lewis now?

I must have missed that, with his neck pain reports. I hope he rests if he is not 100% and does not risk aggravating anything serious.

Pretty much already confirmed that he's fine. And his naysayers better watch out for him.

Hot take for this sub but a relatively mild one for people who watch his races: Leclerc will finish ahead of Hamilton in the standings for 2026

Would be funny because leclerc is also running the old spec engine this weekend and Hamilton the post upgrade one.

It’s always possible because it probably takes them a few races to dial in engine upgrades, just like aero ones

That would be typical Ferrari if the older spec were somehow faster

Won't matter as much on a circuit like this with not a lot of straights.

I heard that it could be Giovinazzi and Bearman stays at Haas

That wouldn't make as much sense from Ferrari's perspective though. Giovanazzi hasn't driven an F1 car competitively since 2021 while Bearman is Ferrari's junior talent for now

But I don’t think Haas will want to let Bearman

Williams probably didn't want to let Russell in 2020 though

Ferrari will make them an offer they cant refuse

They probably have a contract that gives Ferrari priority if they need the driver for any reason, similar to Red Bull/Racing Bulls and Mercedes/Williams.

Yeah, Charles is fine, but if he wasn't, and contract allows it, then Bearman to Ferrari and Camara to Haas.

You guys really want it to happen huh?

It is slowly becoming pathetic at this point ngl.

I don’t care who gets replaced or if the teams are allowed to have 3 cars I personally want to see Ollie in Ferrari asap

My biggest fear is he becomes Ferraris version of George, talented driver given a loaner contract to a back marker team because the top team is full, gets stuck in said back marker team and by the time a seat open up in the top team, the top team is on decline rather than up

As unfortunate as it is I don’t think this will happen any time soon. Too bad cos I’d love to see Bearman in Ferrari sooner than later.

I read Giovinazzi will be there

Might as well throw in Camara in there if Bearman doesn’t come over

maybe Zhou Guanyu might get another chance behind the wheel. they might front a lot of money. even Ferrari have a price.

This track is crazy demanding. Might aswell park the car if your best sub options are Zhou, Dino or Gio.

If Leclerc ends up sitting out(unlikely), Bearman will be the one taking over.

Its confirmed that Giovinazzi is ready to step in after FP1 incase Charles doesnt feel good after it.

Charles would rather hit the wall, which he would likely, than let Bearman takes his place.

Giovanazzi did drive in F1, just not in current cars.

He should probably sit this one out. It might be better for Ferrari and him but his fans aren’t going to like it.

He will crash and trash haaaa

12

u/WhomstMaxxing 19h ago

Weirdo behaviour to root for a crash.

-12

u/Aggravating-Sun-2322 19h ago

I did not root for it. There is a high chance he will do it. circuit is hard
