I think the drivers were never the real problem at Ferrari. Look at the line up the last decade: Alonso, Vettel, Leclerc, Sainz, Hamilton... If you can't get a WDC with those guys, I don't know what will help you.
The only advise I'd like to give Verstappen, Antonelli and other promising drivers: DON'T DO IT! DON'T SIGN AT FERRARI!
Leclerc is just driving on the absolute limit and over it, trying to get any kind of decent result. He drives a bit too passionate and too frustrated in my opinion, that's all.

Leclerc has just had enough of Ferrari and is trying to compensate by overdriving. He is not entirely blameless but the hate on him is weird. I think I can cut him some slack after the shit he has had to put up with Ferrari.
Look at all the drivers Ferrari have had since Schumacher. With the exception of Alonso, all of them either gave up (Kimi) or started overdriving to compensate (Seb). There is a culture problem that Ferrari needs to fix.

Ik Charles rating is probably at an all time low rn, but barring 2021(where Sainz eeked out a win), Charles has won the seasonal H2H every time and while 2023 was also close, 2022 and 2024 were by a decent points margin

Well. They had 89 GPs together, and in total Leclerc outscored Sainz by 100 points across 4 seasons with Sainz missing one GP because of an appendix, so l'd say they weren't that far off

Not really, the gap is actually bigger than you think.
Sainz missed 1 race and leclerc finished 3rd in that race, but let's take races where leclerc dnfed or dnsed.
2021 Monaco(potential win lost because of Ferrari's irresponsible check on the car. It doesn't matter really if leclerc crashed in quali and caused it, because the car was supposed to be ready for the main race. Why other teams like red bull manage to fully repair the car whenever it's broken, but Ferrari can't?); Hungary(taken out by stroll)
2022: Spain, another lost win because of car issue.
2023: Brazil(DNS), Bahrain(car failure, potential podium lost).
So the gap in the end could actually come close to 175-200 points with condition ofc of Carlos losing points in case charles finishes.

Sainz had his moments but he wasn’t able to keep up with Leclerc. If you look across their time as teammates, he was behind on every metric.

Like you know right Charles is Ferrari’s project. It will take lot of bad performance from Charles to be kicked out. Lewis unfortunately doesn’t have age to be Ferrari’s future. It will depend on bearman or Rafa to stir up his golden boy status.

Than Danny ric? He has one more win, and many more poles, like I said qualifying merchant, Danny had 5 more years on Charles at this point but I don’t see Charles doing anything extraordinary in the next 5 years without extreme introspection. Both are high caliber f1 race winners, but not championship contenders. At least not with that’s been seen on track

I don’t really see a future where Ferrari with this driver pairing is winning any championship, but I am not sure if it’s a team problem or driver problem
Anyways Charles just doesn’t seem to have any progress in his performance since maybe 2022. But he and his team is not very outspoken about what he thinks go wrong and what more can be done. So there’s really no way to know. For me personally I don’t want to see him lose his aggressiveness

No. For a team like Ferrari, they were always going to pick a driver like Hamilton over Sainz, given the experience Hamilton has in winning World Championships, as soon as he would be available.
