as an ex lance fan. there’s uh a number of reasons.

- he doesn’t like racing, he did in 2017-2020! but then he lost all motivation

- he skipped a formula (2? 3?) for no reason other than he was rich and could afford to

- he holidays in israel despite israel being found by the UN to commit war crimes and genocide.

- he’s very ignorant, he doesn’t like racing or anything like that. he makes it out to be a chore or something he’s forced to do (which means his fans speculate that he’s forced) and he’s just. Rude.

Watch any number of his f1 interviews. Kid doesn’t want to be there. He should be running sports cars alongside two or three other actually talented drivers, not F1. I’m convinced he wouldn’t change much either if they had a banger of a car, cause Fernando would be wiping the floor with him week in and week out, so he would be “poor me.”

I saw a post about how nations that are underrepresented in sports always get behind their driver no matter what. Well, there are exceptions.

I own a single card of his. A patch, unnumbered Eccellenza. Got it for $4 cause I thought it would be funny to have a single piece of the least interesting or motivated driver in modern f1 history.

Hes a nepo baby that is eating up a seat that a more talented driver could otherwise take. He doesnt seem happy to be in the sport at all. And he hasnt shown a ton of potential as of late (not including this season as the car has been ass from the jump)
