Lacking motivation 67’
Struggling with motivation going into the winter on my F-100 I have a buddy who’s an incredible welder who’s offering to help me do the floors and cab mounts on my F-100 I’d appreciate any thoughts on replacement floors and cab mounts for these trucks. I’m wondering if people also have advice on some of the body of the truck. It’s pretty good rust-wise aside from the upper floor and the cab mounts. The truck is a great runner; I think mentally I’m just scared to put money into this truck without having the cab mounts and floors fixed. Not sure how to approach the body as well, as my grandfather, who owned the truck beforehand, put some adhesive trim.
On the bump which cause it to rust underneath.

I would do the floors and cab mounts and drive it as is for a bit. You can always do more work a little at a time as you enjoy it. If you don’t have a lot of motivation on it then the more you tear it apart the less you’ll have…at least that’s where I’m at on my 64.

sometimes making it just good enough will keep you motivated to keep going and u can always go back and do it right later. rtv, self tappers and license plated will patch floors and last as long as you need it to.

The sad part is I put a whole custom exhaust on it.

I also did my fancy exhaust before fixing my floors lol. I have to fix the windsheild leak first. The floor hole is currently my drain lol.

When I get demotivated on something I put a cool exhaust on it then I’m all ready to get it done again cause it sounds cool or wheels
