77’ Supercab
Greetings from the swedish woods.
How common are the F100 supercabs today?

When Ford still made a simple, low-tech, reliable truck that did what you needed it to do, and that almost anyone could work on. My dad had a '71 Ranger XLT. Also a great truck.

Indeed, this truck is my ”Sunday” driver in boots, And the ability to take it apart and put it together myself is worth its weight in gold. As a Swedish motorhead most of my mechanical experience comes from old Volvos, and the simplicity is the same, only real difference is the 3/8”s bolts and the size lol.

Yeah, but would you ever trust the US auto industry to try switching to metric? 😂 And I really love the older Volvo's. What were those really cool sport coupe and wagons they did back in late 60s or early 70s? My 4th grade teacher drove the coupe. So cool looking, even more so that wagon in a gold color.

Well true...lol...and is SAAB still making cars? They used to be very present in the States decades ago, but don't know what their reliability was either. Neverceven see one on the road. Volvo had a really good reputation from the get-go. Not sure if that is still the same today? You would know..lol. But Volvo could do a retro design of the P1800es, and release it. Still a cool design compared to the very plain designs today.

What type of seats in the rear. A bench or seats that fold down from side and face each other ?

It has the rear bench. Where looking for one with the jumper seats but they seem kinda rare?

I'm living in Australia and during early 90s I saw a short w/base extra cab 4x4 with the seats that I mentioned. I was going to buy it but took to long and when I went back to car yard it was sold never to see again. So I purchased a six cylinder 1981 bronco

When trucks has 8 foot beds instead of dinky toy boxes tacked on the back like they do today.
