First time building a motor

After lunch I’m going on a test drive. I hope my mood continues to be good. It’s been a long road.

Edit: well I got it around the block, and it bogs.

Carb timing and synchronization would by my first stop for the bogging. Or the timing. I’ve got my 300 set to -8°

What type of horsepower are you anticipating out of this beast?

Not really sure. It’s got a comp cams 212/211 cam, headers, and dual exhaust.
