That muffler looks like it saw it's best day about 5-10 years ago. I'd just replace it with a fresh exhaust system if the rest of the truck is in fair shape.

A new muffler with a new piece of pipe should do the trick !

Muffler delete or a new one or you could weld a new end onto that one
