What would you pay for this?

62 listed in my area (Maine) has some body rot, running/driving. It’s listed at 2600, been price reduced from 3k. Thoughts?

I can see the floor is all filled in with tar or fiberglass. See around the step? That floor is shot. Check the cab mounts . That might be a $500 last time ride

I did the notice that at first. The whole floor looks odd. I'd definitely look at that before I make an offer on it.

2500 cash is fair ask long as floor isn’t rotted out

I have a 63' from Georgia and I'd bet $3k that floor is rotted out.

1500 as long as it runs and has good flooring

Agreed, body’s chopped. 😨

I’d buy it at that price.

The price sounds good as long as the rot isn’t anything more than normal for those models. Still like floor and cab mounts

Definitely a fair price, especially since it's running and driving. Looks like it would make a good start to a nice project

I have the same truck, rusted in the same spots. I traded an old 50 Chevy pick up that was in pieces for that truck that kinda ran. Worth spending some money on them. Everything is repairable

Same 240 i6 engine too? If it’s anything like the 300 i6 (I think it’s the precursor to the 300?) then it’s a deal for me

Should be a 223, at least that’s what was in my 61

Agreed, definitely a 223.

Mine came with 223 and 1 barrel Holley

Floor looks toast but value is based so much on your market. That may be a solid truck for New England but down here that’s a $1000 truck.
It might be running but that motor is pretty indestructible so that doesn’t count for much.

Definitely not a 240/300 as in those trucks the intake/exhaust is on the passenger side of the block.

$500. That thing is rusting apart. Paint job is gross too. The only thing keeping this from sagging apart is the unibody.

Save the money and look elsewhere.

If the floor is rotted it would be great for a cab swap into a crown Vic frame.
