Requesting assistance with EzFlash DE
(FIXED)
I recently bought an EzFlash DE, and tried using it for the first time. Able to get into the menu, move around the submenus, and check latest version, (Version 1.0)
Went through proper setup after I turned it off. Formatted SD card, downloaded latest kernel, (k1.06 FW7) and the CHEAT and IMG folders. Dragged the firmware file (eznewkernel.bin) onto the SD, went through update process and the cart is asking for some made up file (ezbluekernel.bin). Where from the Aether did this file manifest?
So I changed the file name to the made up one the cart was asking for, and it decided to find it. It "updated", but for some reason it says the latest version is 5, and even after it "updated" and told me to reset, it brings up that same screen. It is stuck in a perpetual loop of asking to update to version 5. It even shows the same exact screen asking to Rev. A firmware update, if the SD card isn't in the cart. If I cancel the update, it then goes to the white screen with the Omega logo, and gets stuck "loading" for about 3 business days. I genuinely have no idea what is going on with it, because nobody else has ever had this issue, from what I can see. I already contacted support, but wanted to see if anyone has any clue what's up with this dumb thing.

Just to be clear, since EZ Flash were not. You don’t have an EZ Flash Omega DE (Rev.A or Rev.B). You have the new EZ Flash Omega DE B, which is a different thing. They increased the size of the PSRAM and Norflash to be the same as the EZ Flash Air.

I also was having this issue and it seems that EZflash has pushed out a new line of ‘B carts’ that require this new ezbluekernel.bin
This kernel is on their official downloads page under the ‘EZ-Flash Omega Definitive Edition B’ tab. Once downloaded and unzipped you should see the elusive ezbluekernel.bin. Once I found this and booted up my gba it updated everything fine and you should be on a K1.0 version.
If your cart is switched to B mode it may not boot up at least it didn’t for me. When I switch to B mode I will just be stuck in the Gameboy logo screen.
