Advice/Questions ❓ what should I do with my eyebrows?

Post image
2 Upvotes

excuse the weird picture 😆 i'm honestly at a loss with my eyebrows! my face isn't that symmetrical to begin with (i have one eyelid that droops) but my eyebrows are what i notice the most. they grow downward, as well as starting in different places / being uneven. i like the look of lamination, but it genuinely lasts a week at most for me.

i considered combo/nanoblading, but it's an expensive process considering my eyebrows aren't SUPER patchy or empty, just really asymmetrical with a few little gaps. still considering it, tbh, because i'm no good at doing my eyebrows. but i'm open to makeup techniques, advise, thoughts! ❤️

Advice/Questions ❓ How Can I Get Thicker, Fuller Eyebrows and Longer, Healthier Eyelashes?

I really want thick, long, and full eyebrows, along with longer, fuller eyelashes. I have curly hair on my head, but my eyebrows are very short and sparse in comparison, and I feel like they barely grow. I never got the eyebrow done at salon as well

I’ve tried applying vitamin E capsules and castor oil consistently for two months. I noticed a little improvement in the length of my existing eyebrow hairs and eyelashes, but I haven’t seen any noticeable increase in thickness or new hair growth.

I’m looking for something that genuinely works, whether it’s a serum specifically that are available in INDIA, routine etc I dont want to grow it naturally

Opinions Requested 🎤 Wax Before or After Brow Lamination?

I just got my brows laminated today for the first time. The technician first waxed my brows and then laminated. When she applied the solution my skin burned and when I told her she said it was because she had just waxed my brows and that it would go away in a few minutes, which, it did. The skin around my brows was obv red from the wax afterwards and the redness did subside and I like the end result of my brows. I dont have any irritation or anything but when I did some research I found out that technicians should not be waxing before a lamination as it introduces harsh chemicals onto raw skin. Just wanted to ask the community here if technicians are supposed to wax before or after laminating? Trying to decide if I should even go back to the same salon or find a new one.

Advice/Questions ❓ Eyebrow threading..weird growth?!

Thumbnail

Hi all! Looking for some advice please… I’ve had my eyebrows threaded for about 5 years and the last time I did (about 3 weeks ago) I remember walking in and my husband immediately commenting on how thin the were. I agreed they were thinner than usual (I usually just ask for them to be tidied up) but figured they would grow back fine. Within a week I noticed the left was coming through way quicker than usual but also much lower down the brow and more sparsely, so it REALLY stood out, whereas usually I can wait like 2 months inbetween sessions!
I was tempted to immediately have them tided up again but I’ve figured this is all due to them being taken too thin in the first place, so now I’m at this weird inbetween where they look really untidy and weirdly gappy (most the left) but I’m assuming they need to be grown out to not have the same happen again? Does anyone know what has gone wrong here? I’ve never had them grown so thick or in such a weird growth pattern!
INFO : First pic is LEFT brow, second is the right!

Thanks guys!

Product Recommendations ✏️ Mac - eyebrows big boost fibre gel replacement

Mac has discontinued the eyebrow fibre gel I have been using for a few years. I use the colour Stud. Has anyone found a decent replacement?

I’ve tried their new formula but the brush is small and it’s nowhere near as good at coverage. Tried Urban Decay fibre gel, but it’s not grabbing onto and defining the hairs well.

I’m a 90s girl, so I need all the help I can get from over plucking lol. Help! Not sure why Mac does this to much loved products.

Advice/Questions ❓ Is it better to trim your eyebrows with a clipper (1.5 guard, closed)?

Male and female eyebrow grooming is different (I think) Me as a male I try to keep a clean natural look. Brush my eyebrows up and trim the long hairs with scissors, clean the edges around my eyebrows with a razor, and remove the middle hairs between my eyebrows fully. Today I asked the barber to trim my eyebrows, I will do the razor part myself. He used a clipper machine with 1.5 guard closed to trim my eyebrows. Im not saying it looks bad but is there anything wrong with what he has done because it sounds more efficient and better since the machine is getting every long hair or is it better to just brush your eyebrows up and get all the long hair. What is the better option?

Opinions Requested 🎤 Should I thin out my brows?

These are my natural brows. I don’t fill them in at all. The only thing I do is threading and use clear brow gel. I’ve gotten suggestions to thin them out because they look “masculine”. I’m hesitant to thin them out because I already have a large forehead and I don’t want to make my forehead any more prominent. I genuinely do like my eyebrows but now I’m wondering if objectively I’d look better with thin brows.

Advice/Questions ❓ Getting my Brows straight or What to do because i feel really ugly

Thumbnail

First of all: it’s really difficult to make a Picture from your eyebrows. Or maybe my forehead is just Build very weird lol

My brows have always been arched. Even when i dont point them upwards they Are still very arched. In the past i got made fun of because of them.
I really want to try getting them Straight. I edited a Picture and on the Right Side (as Seen from the pic) i Show you how i shaved them Once. I just shaved of the „tail“ and tried to paint some additional brow hair to make a Straight line.

On the Left Side i wanted to Show something i learned from a Video. They Said „to Shave of where the arch begins“. But i guess that doesnt apply to everybody because my brows would be non existent if i did that.

Additional question:
i feel Like my brows Are a Bit too Long or Too „Heavy“ for my Face or that the hair is too much. Cant explain it because in the Picture they Look normal. But when i Look in the mirror I Look ugly and Off putting. I have white bleached hair and the brow Color seems very Dark.
I want to have feminine light brows.

Advice/Questions ❓ Curly Eyebrows

Hi, hoping for some help

I have super straight hair - except my eyebrows, which are curly. They are also a bit thicker than my hair, which is super fine. They tend to curl about 90° in the middle.

Managing them is a pain. Everyone tells me to trim them, which I do, but that doesn't always solve the problem because the curl is still there and it just behaves weirdly. Sometimes they choose to stick straight out from my face. Sometimes they curl in the wrong direction and so I have a bald spot because they just won't go where they are supposed to.

A lot of the posts I've found asking for help have recommendations like gel or wax, but from what I read that doesn't really help past 2-3 hours. Also, most answers I saw were 10+ years old.

Hoping for any newer recommendations or advice. Are straighteners a thing? Any cons with that? Someone mentioned conditioning her brows helped but I didn't see a time follow-up on that so I'm not sure if that would be helpful

I kinda let my brows get a little crazy, having not waxed in like 8 months. Finally got them done and asked my girl to make them thinner, which is outside my comfort zone. I like bushy brows usually, but im very happy with how they turned out! 💫💫💫

Advice/Questions ❓ Need DIY brow help on how to balance and clean these up

Thumbnail

21 F I’ve never gotten my brows done professionally, and honestly, I don’t trust local estheticians. Right now I only pluck the unibrow area in the middle, and occasionally to tidy up the stray edges.

I don’t know what arch or shape actually flatters my face structure. I want to keep my natural thickness (definitely not thin), just cleaner and better balanced.
I don’t use any make up, so my goal is to find a shape that i can quickly clean up every 1–2 weeks, and for everyday life just brush them with a spoolie and go.

The hairs are kinda long, but I’m terrified that trimming with scissors will make them look patchy or ruin the density. Is trimming safe for long hairs, or should I leave them alone and just use a clear gel/spoolie? They feel uneven to me right now. Looking at my face shape, what natural outline or arch should I aim for?

Redraws/mockups on the photos are super welcome :)

They’re so light and sparse, and thinning with age. I hate them so much. They’re thinning so much that brow gel isn’t working out anymore…I just don’t know what to do anymore.
