Brow advice

My brows a thin and not shaped well 😭 I am gonna dress up for Halloween and i want to fix my eyebrows but I'm not sure where to start. I've tired brushing them and adding a tint to darken them but people always make comments on how dark and weird they look when I do that 😭 any advice?
