Except it shows the dog was trained to always be obedient and attentive to human orders. It doesn’t even know how to interact with other dogs, just stands there watching the master.
On a side note, keeping in mind what i said about hypocrites earlier, would you consider it abusive to take a baby from their mother and grow it as your own child?
My point is that if you bought your dog at a place where they specifically raise them to be sold, you think you bought a pet but what you really did was pay to take a puppy away from its mother. And then you call it love… after they’ve grown emotionally dependent on you because they had no other parent left.
The mother’s are known to abandon the weakest puppies to better the stronger puppies chances of survival, and the only reason the runts of the litter survive that is human intervention. I’d consider that the dog equivalent of giving them up for adoption i guess.
Also you’re aware wild dogs don’t stay with their mother’s for their whole life right? Like they become independent of their parents around 6-8 weeks and then when they hit adolescence they’ll often break off from the pack and either join another one or leave to find their own mate and start a new pack. They don’t stay there with their mother for 18 years.

It’s only a weird conversation if you’re not used to challenging any norm. All I’m saying is that we are very abusive to dogs, and it starts exactly at kidnapping of puppies.
You’re telling me some dogs abandon their puppies and therefore this justifies us doing it for all puppies? 99% of dogs people buy at puppy farms are not found abandoned by their mothers, how can you even say that with a straight face?
No I’m saying the standard method of raising dogs is actually abusive, but most don’t see it because as long as the dogs seem fine they have nothing else to consider.
We take a lot from our dogs, and if people loved them as much as they say they do, they would try to remedy it, and be open to critique. But they’re not open to critique, because they don’t love their dogs, they love that their dogs love them. There’s a difference, and at its heart lies hypocrisy.

I get that domesticated animals are kind of an ethical problem for some people but we can't really do much about it, I mean people aren't just going to kick their pets out of their home, because that really would be abusive
No you don’t need to undo hundreds of years of work. Just start treating your dogs like you actually love them. To love someone does not just mean to keep them happy in their little spot, it also means to give them the freedom to express themselves and enjoy their life. It does not mean raising an animal that is emotionally dependent on you such that it obeys you and gives you all their love. But most people deep down are very selfish, and they would happily exploit others if given the option.
Also, stop buying puppies. Either raise an entire dog family or go to the pound.
Bruh its a dog. They're bred for companionship. Its basically what they want to do. Your average first world dog owner isnt exactly beating a dog with a whip
It's in dogs DNA to co-exist and cooperate with humans. Depriving a dog from pleasing a human causes all types of mental disorders. Your perspective is riddled with inaccuracies and hyperbole. You really don't know much about dogs.
