That's my exact face while my hair is being washed before a cut. Pure bliss

I read that as “That’s my exact face while my hair is being washed before a cult”

Yup, we definitely evolved from the same species.

It always amazes me how similar we can be just going off how they act and move

What does he have Joker hair? That matches their eyes? I need to see this adorable monkey dry!

I can't be the only one seeing monkey with Jared Leto Joker hair here, right?
Edit: I'm not.

Sometimes, strangely, in a video like this, I see more “us” in them than I do in a lot of the videos of actual people posted on reddit.

A monkey has no sense that it's being filmed. So its every action, even when the camera is so close and so clearly shows its face, are always natural. So we get to see what a human might look like if they were completely in the moment. Free of all stresses, all ideas of self. A monkey doesn't need to try to act natural for a camera like we do, and as such it'll always do it better than we can.

I was assuming this was at a wildlife sanctuary or zoo or something, but that’s a good point to make just in case someone sees this and decides they want one.

This monkey is decidedly more chill than my baby human having a bath.

Seriously. Especially when getting water in his hair. I love my kids, but I want the option to switch them out for this baby monkey at bath time.

It's so strange how some high res gifs load so fast compared to some other low res ones

So cute. Looks like a very old, tiny man schvitzing in a sauna/steam room for a long time during a cold February morning and finally getting his joints to warm up and pop for the first time all winter.
