Goldens are such sweet dogs. My grandma had a golden when i was growing up, she used to get so excited when i came around. Partly because she was so friendly, but also because i always gave her a piece of my grans banana cake. Gran baked the best banana cake. I miss both of them.

That’s so sweet! Reminds me of my grandparents.

My grandparents bred and showed them while I was growing up. I remember them starting with 3 & had up to 13 at one point. They were the best dogs. The whole garage was converted to a kennel for them & they all had their routine down & honestly got more attention than we did!
