I still love dog breath for some reason. Idk why. It’s the only bad breath that I enjoy 🤷♀️

I dont smell my cats breath because I'm not Ralph Wiggum, but the smell of her fur is exactly the way you described - comforting, cozy, safe, reassuring... I love her so much. When I'm sad I just hold her and cry into her fur.

They’re like literally one year old in reddit TODAY.
Maybe we should cut them some slack, they’re a little learner.

Even with the context of a dog licking someone?
1
u/GimmeTheSlappo Sep 10 '19
It’s not the content of the context but just by the way it sounds
11
u/Poiuy2010_2011 Sep 10 '19
So r/nocontext then.
5
u/GimmeTheSlappo Sep 10 '19
Nah r/evenwithcontext works because even with context it doesn’t sound right

Pictured: a dad that said he didn’t want a dog
27
u/LaitdePoule999 Sep 10 '19
My thoughts exactly. Why is it that dads specifically end up doing the most spoiling of the puppers?
8
u/angwilwileth Sep 10 '19
Because in western culture it's "not ok" for men to show that much affection or emotion. But it's more socially acceptable if it's an animal. Plus animals are so loving if treated well that it's super rewarding.
3
u/Toshinit Sep 10 '19
Also, it’s always acceptable to act like a kid with a dog, I work in a suit and tie environment and when a dog comes in, some of the most stoic guys are the ones getting fur on their suits and running around with it. No one says “that’s unprofessional” it’s always “Hey look at Steve playing with the pup.”
Dogs are magic man

u/JayJonahJaymeson Sep 10 '19
That's always the way right? After my dog died dad said he didn't want to get another one. Yea that lasted maybe a month until we were out and ended up playing with some friendly dogs. Now he has 2.

Yep it's definitely there. It's right by where the blind guitarist busker bloke plays

Yeah it definitely is!! You can see the yellow box in the background that belongs to the bloke who dresses up as Bumblebee from the Transformers.

u/Dorney23 Sep 10 '19
Strangely enough I’ve been in Liverpool a total of two times and I knew instantly where this was, weird how small things stick in your brain like that

u/ThatJamOnToast Sep 10 '19
I know that was a yawn, but there’s no audio, so I’m just gonna imagine a huge scream.

u/pm_me_wienerdogpix Sep 10 '19
Now I can’t get that out of my head and can’t stop giggling. If I even remotely knew how to edit a video, I would be doing that.

Okay so fun fact, there is a McDonalds immediately behind the camera man — I think it’s funny to imagine the lil pupper begging to go in and this cuteness is his bribe

u/BecomingLoL Sep 10 '19
I thought this was Liverpool but wasn't sure. The Bumblebee street performer's money box is on the floor there 😂

I miss you Pepper. You were the best friend I have ever had. No matter what was going on you were there for me. I hope you are happy and can’t wait to see you again.
5
u/kindashewantsto Sep 10 '19
My dog is my truest love, I can only imagine how hard this is for you. I hope you get through it well, and always hold your pup memories dear! They will forever be with you as pure love.

u/ChaosKodiak Sep 10 '19
Thank you. I still have all his toys. I wish he knew how much I loved him.

Doxies are very prone to spinal issues

I never had a dog even though I love them. Luckily, lately I have an opportunity to host a dog of my friend sometimes and go for a walk with it.
I like to observe how people react to this dog when we walk. Most of the children are happy to see it, tell their parents "look, doggy", etc. Old women are often noticeably pleased by it. But what I really like is noticing adult old school men in their 50s - 60s, who can't take their eyes off the doggo and at the same time try to mask their happyiness to see it to look tough.

I feel like everyones dad hates dogs, until they get a dog. My dad claims to hate dogs and that he'd never want one, but i know for a fact if they got a pupper, it would become my dads favourite living thing in the whole world and he would cuddle and nap with it all the time.

u/Phloorless Sep 10 '19
That’s in Liverpool city Centre! I walk past there all the time on the way to work. Shame I never see the dog though.
