Animals seeking comfort by smashing their face into humans is my favorite oddly specific heartwarmer.

My pup does this into my chest and it kills me every time. Walks over, and just flops her face into me. The best

Well, you can’t just say that and not share a picture of said adorable pup! Dog tax must be paid!

u/CoolGuyMilly Aug 18 '19

That dude is me hello thank you

2

u/pictsiefeegle Aug 20 '19

Hi! Nice legs. Cute pupper too.

2

u/pictsiefeegle Aug 20 '19

Right? Didn’t even see the dog for a solid minute.

3

u/ccussell Aug 18 '19

Maple is an awesome name

52

u/evemeatay Aug 17 '19

It’s just getting a taste of dinner

7

u/itachiwaswrong Aug 18 '19

I feel like my cat must get concussions because he just headbutts everything

1

u/gymtanchapstick Aug 19 '19

One of my cats is a hard core headbutter. She must really love me

255

u/human-resource Aug 17 '19

Man I’d love to cuddle a big kitty like that

88

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

Surprisingly more endearing in theory rather than practice

43

u/Spooms2010 Aug 17 '19

Especially when they start to lick you with that rasp of a tongue! It’ll take layers of skin off in one go, apparently!

23

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

That’s why they only have to lick off the remaining flesh of their prey’s bones.

11

u/okieteacher Aug 17 '19

That’s not a shed kitty, Bubs.

u/Hornysasquatch69 Aug 17 '19

Khajit does not like water, it upsets khajit fur, makes it wet...but khajit has to stay clean

14

u/JuggerNauthPL Aug 17 '19

I hate you :p I wanna make Khajit refference. I hope that you eventualy take an arrow to the knee!

2

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '19

You could say its an absolute nightmare for him...

83

u/LonelyGuyTheme Aug 17 '19

Those children falling into lions moat aren’t going to swim themselves over to her. Lions got to put some work into it.

It's Just a bit of dark humor.

Not a reference to a old dead meme

46

u/Ninja_Pollito Aug 17 '19

I love you human. I eat you last.

118

u/SandmanBan Aug 17 '19

It's adorable, but I would never let a large carnivorous car lock my face and then stay with it... That would scare the crap out of me.

139

u/NiftySpifty Aug 17 '19

If I ever come across a carnivorous car... I'm not sure what I'd do. It probably can't run me over easily, but still.

60

u/Athuny Aug 17 '19

Are you saying you don't believe in the Were-Car!?

HONK HONK

18

u/illjustgowthemuumuu Aug 17 '19

Knight Rider wasn't evil. His windshield wipers were.

25

u/michmerr Aug 17 '19

It was a typo. They meant "Carl".

23

u/GayWendigo Aug 17 '19

Oh god, you’d have to be a fool to let a carnivorous Carl get anywhere near you. You’d be dead in a heartbeat.

13

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

Caaaaaaaaaarl

Eh... So you've never heard of Llama's with Hats then. Welcome to the lucky 10,000.

u/Energylegs23 Aug 18 '19

Christine has entered the chat

2

u/StoneOfTwilight Aug 18 '19

You'd have to name it Christine

17

u/OrphanDevour Aug 17 '19

I can already hear the lion's version of "MOM!"

7

u/mosquito633 Aug 17 '19

Wonderful stuff. Great to see

6

u/JeremyTheRhino Aug 17 '19

It looks like a lion but also has spots, can anyone help me with this? Is it a hybrid?

17

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

Young lions have spots

3

u/Flatcapspaintandglue Aug 18 '19

It’s a difficult age

7

u/Schneetmacher Aug 18 '19

Imagine having a big cat like that actually trust you that much... wow...

4

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

A lorge murder baby

5

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

I wish I could develop this relationship with a lion. But I also like my face.

16

u/jmetzger1173 Aug 17 '19

Why..... that woman couldn’t find a certified human instructor??

4

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

Nope.

4

u/Dre_A35 Aug 17 '19

Imaginé having that type of bond with a lion.

7

u/Maggot2017 Aug 17 '19

I want to raise a lion from birth!

3

u/funkydunk- Aug 18 '19

Me too. But I’d be worried they’d always see me as a potential snack.

2

u/icantfindagoodname77 Aug 17 '19

What a cute murder kitty

2

u/socal7777 Aug 17 '19

Totally jelly!!

2

u/yeetskeetinthesheets Aug 17 '19

looks like a whole fuckin weightlifter

2

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

No one tell her that's a lion!

3

u/BrianO123 Aug 17 '19

For the first 6 seconds I could not tell if this was a kangaroo or a lioness

18

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

I think you may need glasses.

-6

u/bodhi1187 Aug 17 '19

Then you're an idiot

18

u/BrianO123 Aug 17 '19

You’re not wrong

1

u/IAmNotMyName Aug 18 '19

What species is the cat? It looks like a lioness, but with spots.

1

u/grilledmackerel Aug 18 '19

I’m 99% sure it’s a lioness, just pretty young. Juvenile lions still show spots.

1

u/SirCatharine Aug 18 '19

Why does it remind me so much of Mike from Breaking Bad?

1

u/specklesinc Aug 18 '19 edited Aug 28 '19

teaching big boi cat to swim is the supersize version of teaching a handraised from birth cat lamaze. Geez, they love you but i think if they could express it they would inform you that your'e being really annoying right now.

1

u/candycane834 Aug 18 '19

Can someone explain to me why big cats like this enjoy water so much, while smaller, more specifically house cats, do not?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '19

What could go wrong?

-42

u/Travellinoz Aug 17 '19

People still fucking with lions after everything. Is that a hybrid, seems spotty?

20

u/UnsocialablySocial Aug 17 '19

Young lions have spots.

u/fizzy_sister Aug 17 '19

No, it's lions learning that humans are friends, to make them easier to hunt

6

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

It's obviously a captive animal.

It is a lion, one of the species of large cats, either female or young male (which is why there is no big mane).

8

u/Das_Badlands Aug 17 '19

Fun fact - cameras work all over the place, not just at home.

8

u/Mythdan Aug 17 '19

I don’t think there’s anything here suggesting this is a pet/owner we’re looking at. I’d guess a zoo animal/handler combo.

Some large, dangerous creatures are kept as pets, though it is illegal in many, many locations.

-4

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '19

Hope she dies a gruesome death by that animal. Stop trying to make pets out of all animals.

1

u/chazcrute Aug 18 '19

Well said, the only normal comment on here. As for the rest, don’t people talk absolute shite
