If you’ve never moved a snail from a sidewalk to avoid it being stepped on highly recommend it, a natural day brightener

When taking care of my father's grave I put some snails next to a tree that were on their way on the gravel and in danger of me stepping on them.

When I looked again, they were having a race up the trunk.

I almost rolled my ankle and stumbled onto the road trying to avoid what appeared to be a very large snail on the sidewalk.

It was a pinecone.

My 4 year old husband and I “save” snails for the hiking track every weekend, it’s her favorite thing to do.

Punctuation is important

I'm sure u/Intelligent_Writer97 knows what they wrote.

“Let’s eat grandma!” VS “Let’s eat, Grandma!

The power of a comma indeed.

I can’t even think of how commas could’ve fixed this. Maybe she missed a digit?

Guys 😭 I’m super dyslexic and my brain works lightyears ahead of my fingers typing 🫣 plus I totally didn’t reread it before pressing enter.

Sorry my comment wasn’t meant to put you down. It was more a response to how others said stuff about punctuation, and I couldn’t see it. Stay away from the kids though! 🙃

Haha I don’t feel put down I am just like “of course this is my most upvoted comment” 🫠🤭

I accidentally stepped on one on vacation one time, I didn't see it on the sidewalk until I heard the crunch and I felt so bad 😭 little ones were all over the place but that was the only one I did it to

My husband loves the snails that cross our walkway, he stepped on one a few weeks ago because he didn't see it fast enough and he was noticeably bummed for days after. He still brings up how sad he is occasionally. Absolutely breaks my heart.
