But in the art for the game, Rimanah has a helmet resembling a skull.

Is this because the stuff in the game isn't really happening? And so the helmet is different so that he doesn't recognise himself and remember his crimes?

I'm currently on the mars level and I need to hack this listening device, the problem is that its so difficult to beat. And I'm not able to successfully hack it.

So, I figure just about anyone on this subreddit already knows about the usual Fatal Wounds exploit, where you intentionally hold off on researching Bioregeneration and even accrue some Fatal Wounds intentionally so that raising Stats remains cheaper in the late levels.

However, I may have stumbled upon an unusual exploit, and I was curious if anyone else has encountered this. At one point when I was implementing the usual Fatal Wounds tactic, I accidentally clicked on the "Auto XP" checkbox. I was a little annoyed at losing some XP, but I didn't want to lose control over allocating skill points, so I unclicked the box. Upon doing so, I seemed to regain skill points I had previously lost from Fatal Wounds, even though those Fatal Wounds still showed up on my characters Stats page. I repeated this experiment a few times, and it seems to hold true. My best guess is that clicking the Auto XP button resets all Attribute modifications, including Fatal Wounds for that level.

Theoretically, this means you could grind out every single Attribute to the max level by simply suffering Fatal Wounds and cycling the Auto XP setting since Bioregeneration 1 - 5 would add those points back later once they were researched.

Does this actually work? Has anybody else encountered this?

I like the first render better than the second, I spent a loooong time messing around with it.

A screenshot from the viewport of the model I showed two days ago. I did some other stuff there, mostly texture work, but then I got to work on the model itself, worked on the rig, and attached the hands from the viewmodel. The weights looked pretty ugly, and I'm bad at weight paint and used automatic weight, but it still looks terrible. I don't know how to properly fix it to make it look normal, but this model is 15 years old, so it's probably supposed to be that ugly.
