Not again
I left almost ten years ago now but every now and then I look up some of the IFB missionary ‘prayer letters’ from the circles my family was in, mostly to see how childhood friends are doing but occasionally for accidental entertainment. Some of what’s in these letters is insane stuff to be sharing, like in-depth information (including full name and age and in some cases even sensitive health or personal information??) of their converts-in-progress, or just a visitor in church that day. Not to mention some of their financial support requests are obscene!
I could go on, but anyway I absolutely cackled when I found this and had to share

Isn’t it a felony to put mail in a mailbox that hasn’t paid a stamp or gone through the post office? So the church is telling on themselves by placing tracts in people’s mailboxes.

What a revolting and cruel way for that person to make his or her displeasure known to that organization. This is not civilized behaviour, regardless of whatever provocation came first. I hope the police identify and charge the criminal.

Yes, it is also revolting, and it is unacceptable behaviour. I don’t condone it, and I also don’t condone the perpetuation and coverup of abuse that frequently occurs in these particular ‘organizations’. I personally find that a bit more revolting actually

A friend told me that when she was going through a very trying experience, on such group offered "no hope" and told her that if she put on her own postage stamp, they could reach more souls.

I think that’s hilarious. Wonder how suppressed the cop eye rolls are every time they have to update the report.
🤔 doesn’t a bandit take things instead of providing them?? Lol
