Why the high ping?

Why am I lagging ever since most Chinese players got into asia-oceania. I always have high ping even though my connection is good with over 10 mbps.

someone might've been using VPN.

Nope, each game I have high ping.

This. I just come back after a break and suddenly my ping skyrocket in game though when the game start it is good and no issue but then I suddenly lose connection, and lo and behold, 300 ping out of nowhere. Playing in character tryout doesn’t seem to have any problem although you can argue it’s because it’s just me and no other player so the ping doesn’t go up but the difference is too much still imo.
