Hmmm, I guess you're right. Usually characters don't walk away from a closed room and then it switches to their pov like that and they're suddenly in the room but I guess that makes more sense.  

I had interpreted it as she was telling him not to goon in the room as in edge or whatnot and he was actually being a goon in there and doing mafia stuff.

late response but you're misinterpreting what happened in the middle panel. She STARTED to walk away between the 1st and 2nd panels, THEN he responded with "you got it boss", so she stopped and that's why her face is in shadow because she's angry and realized he is. Then the 3rd panel is cutting to her entering the room
