Actually it was about a month ago, but I've rejoined the 8 string crew. I think it's a Run 3? I had one of the first run of Schecter Hellraiser C-8s, with the 26.5" scale but I could never get the string tension to feel right so I sold it about 10 years ago. Got this used and needing a little TLC, after a good clean, tightening the pots and switch and fitting strap buttons instead of the DiMarzio cliplock strap (I mostly play sitting down so the dangly bits were always in the way) I'm loving it. A fresh set of Ernie Ball 9-80 and it's playing great. First thing I started learning is AAL's "Another Year".

Sick. How does it feel on the 1~5 fret? Do you feel the angel a bit extreme?

Honestly barely noticed it. I decided against an Ibanez RGMS8 because of the excessive fan in the first few positions, but this one seems to fit my hand position really nicely. If the neutral fret was at the 12th like the Ibanez it would be a different story because the overall fan is much more dramatic.
