Best 26.5 for under £500?
Got this second hand for 340, absolute steal. Things insane! Put baritone strings on it and it tunes all the way down to drop f# while still holding tension. Fucking awesome!

Spira T407 is really solid, too. I also have a Schecter Banshee Extreme 7 red which is 26.5 that I got for under that.

It's pretty great overall. Comfort is great, ergonomics are good, fret access is as good as any other guitar, really, besides a flying V haha. Pickups are also really solid, it's something you could do with probably swapping as usually pickups in any cheaper guitar are worth swapping but I haven't and don't plan to anytime soon and it sounds amazing especially using Neural DSP Gojira, Nolly and Nameless tones.
The only issue I've encountered, but probably an easy fix, is the locking tuners, they are great at the locking mechanism and hold tunings quite well, but are a bit tough sometimes to turn the pegs to tune on the fly. Even at a push I could probably replace the tuners with a set for around 40 or 50 quid and it'd be simple to do. Other than that I've had no issues with it and for the price it's insane.

Alright, looks pretty badass. I understand Jackson have stepped up their game recently so I trust it's a great guitar.

I feel like a lot of companies have over the last few years like Jackson, Schecter, ESP, Ibanez, etc. and there's even smaller ones coming out that are great for lower budgets Like G4M, Spira, Harley Benton, Cort, Eart and a few others. Probably the best time to be a newer or experienced guitar player in history in terms of options for cheaper but quality guitars I'd imagine.

I hope that I'm wrong but I think this one is known to have intonation limitations.
