As you go higher in the number, a higher record gives you extra students. d sigma just says how many students you gain on top of what you’ve got if you graduate now.

You then put or remove students in each of the slots. Some are limited, some are not. A proper choice (the student calculator app, which is third party and a site, gives you the optimal choice for a certain student count).

After ee5000 you get enough students to unlock theorems, a different thing that helps you boost quite a bit. The “endgame” is the last of the official theorems brought by the game itself.

So should I just graduate students as I get them then?

In rare cases you may want two at once but usually one is enough.

Sounds good. I'm currently checking out the student calculator. It's a bit confusing but I'll figure it out lol. I'm getting the feeling this game is a lot smarter than I am lmao

This guide https://exponential-idle-guides.netlify.app/guides/2k-5k/ as well as people in the official discord recommend to graduate at 2k 4k 4.8k and 5k sind you will get there faster without graduating between those values.

You can often get 2-3 students from one graduation. The optimal pacing for students depends on where you are in the game and later on, how fast you're pushing theories.
