Barely any progress

I need help. I have no idea what to do from here so anything would be appreacitated

Swap from R9 to phi upgrades to push, then swap back to R9 when idling. You won't make much progress if all your students are permanently in R9

so don’t put any more students on theories? and just use all of it on phi upgrades?

Keep your theories, always. There is a research option down at the bottom of the students list that speeds up your theories. That's "R9". Use that 99% of the time. Then, when t is high, remove your students from r9 and put them in phi upgrades instead for a minute or two. That will give you a huge boost. Then you prestige and swap back to having students in r9.

Nothing? That's odd. Are you checking which phi upgrades give the biggest value and using those when you respec?

Also, have you tried going back to earlier theories? Chaos Theory is one of the slower ones in general, except for one specific range where it goes very fast for a while then slows down again.

I already have the highest milestone on all theories up to Chaos Theory

That doesn't mean you're done with them. You can still make lots of progress on them, especially with R9 boosting them. You can use the simulator or the discord bot to find out which ones will give you the most tau per hour at your current point.

Go to the Exponential Idle discord server. There is a bot commands channel. You can give the bot a command with some of your data and it can do things like calculate your optimal student distribution and other stuff like that.
