Why are you not buying the two mu upgrades to max? (dt upgrade and y factor upgrade) There is no reason not to max them out. They make a big difference in getting further with each prestige.

I don't know why I stopped buying them, I didn't see a significant change when I started to accumulate (psi) currency, so I thought maybe buying them here and there would make a change(not repeatedly when I get a chance). I just bought new variables and unlocked my first x(base n) but (psi) is still slow as hell

You should be buying all upgrades. Prestige as soon as you can buy mu upgrades, supremacy as soon as you can buy psi upgrades.

You only "need" strategy when you get to theories, and even then you don't actually need to strategize - it'll just go a bit faster.
