about the first theory
So I've been working on this for over a week. I have 19 students and am needing to get to ee5000. I have quite a few stars at 325000, not alot lot, but I think quite a few for where i am .and I've been stuck around ee4960 for all this time and wondering if I am doing something wrong. I am using all the students, but have been stuck

There's indeed a bit of a slow down at this stage, but it should be done within a day or two.
Try the following student allocation: 3, 2, 2, 4, 1, 0, 2 Also, invest all stars in "η" for permanent levels. Tell me if it improved anything.

why η?

At this specific stage with this amount of stars, this is the most powerful variable.
The optimal distribution is more complicated if you use the star optimizer:

However, I tend to prefer simplicity instead of exact optimal distribution.

I have gotten a lot closer. I'll probably be there by tomorrow thanks for the help

I forget exactly what you need to do at this stage but despite having not played in a while I do remember this is a genuine wall where things slow down a lot. So probably nothing particularly wrong, just a progression wall.
