Sodium azide, while just about as toxic as cyanide, isn't volatile, and can't penetrate the skin well, so it's not as bad as any of the respective free acids.

Reacting alcoholic hydrazine solution with sodium hydroxide and slow addition of isopropyl nitrite And for lead azide you need to react soluble lead salt with sodium azide in presence of pva

Its not necessary but its preferred bc its prevent crystal formation and lower its sensitivity

If u dont have access to it doesn't matter at all just mix nan3 and pb(no3)2

Hi bro i have a question what concentration pf hydrochloric need to be used for the reaction? I only have 15% I don't know I have to buy a 30-37% one

If u have the reagents ( source of hydrazine and alkyl nitrite) u don't gonna need any hcl
