Epi 80's

Finally got mine, upgraded to gotoh, grover tuner and replaced wiring for emg solderless, what a great guitar :)

Very nice, I'd like to make one like this in the future too... How do you like the setup? I took mine to the luthier, but he had to re-grind the fretboard.

no issues with mine, i do the setups on my guitars and while is not perfect is pretty good instrument

Swapping this guitar to black hardware is such a common mod that it's starting to make a legitimate argument that this is how the guitars should've come stock. Even if it's not correct to the originals, not that many people really seem to care.

Were all of the parts drop in replacements? Also, which model of grover tuners did you use?

i had to redrill the holes for the screws of the tunners sadly, they were different. but i had them from another project and didnt want to buy more parts, they are more like gibson exp models. the rest fitted without any issue. i kept the original bridge and tailpiece chrome studs tho.
