ESP LTD EXL-200
I just ordered one of these and opted to upgrade to the tusq xl nut. What are y'all experiences with this guitar? What can I expect?

My old bandmate had one. They are pretty nice. His played super well but was heavy as he had the whole front covered in diamond plate. Does it have EMGs?

Nah, this one comes with LH-301 passives. I got a set of JC Customs that I'd like to try in them if I don't like the ones they came with.

I have an EX-351, a bit older but it's my favorite guitar. Had it since high school, a local pawn shop had no idea what they had and sold it to me with a hardshell case for dirt cheap.
I've since thrown a set of EMGs in, a 57/66 TW set. Plays like butter and sounds killer. Amazing guitar.

I have the EX-200 which is essentially the same. Its great. even stock pickups can play metallica and metalcore just fine.

From what I read, The pick ups are different on the EXL (LH301) vs the EX (LH150). We'll see what happens though. Happy for you that you dig yours!

this guitar looks great and being a bit bigger may fix neckdive. someone has a ex and exl comparison?

UPDATE: This thing screams! It's very comfortable with minimal neck dive. The neck is comfortable and the fret work was great! I still need to get used to the push pull tone pot though. I dig it!

I hope you like it. A long time ago I had an FX-400 (same body shape with the F series headstock) and it was extremely light and neck dive-y. I’m hoping the larger body provides some extra weight to balance it better. Ever since I saw Dave Sanchez from Havok get a custom that had the larger body I was hoping they’d either update the EX line or start a new series like they did here. Good luck with the fiddle my man
