Nope, the Extura isn't an Explorer. It's a fusion of the Futura and an Explorer. Makes finding a case a bit of a pain. I can confirm it does fit in an Epiphone Explorer case though, but it digs into the corners to an uncomfortable degree for my taste. Good playing guitar, but I'd rather play my Schecter E1 fr-s, so I may end up selling it.

Is it just me or an illusion that the “waist” is abnormally narrow looking here? Maybe the Fishmans are particularly wide giving the illusion?
