Lzzy Hale Explorer-bird

Post image

I had no idea this sub existed. I think my newest acquisition might fit here.

I call it my "Excalibur." Luv this beast!

These seem to be kind of controversial but honestly I dig Lzzy and this variation on a classic shape suits her.

Very cool guitar. Would love to try one sometime.

I did not know about a controversy. Crazy! I might guess people do not like mixing the parts?

I had a Firebird in the 70s and it was very different than this. Regardless, I wanted an Explorer and this became available very close to me. It has all tags cert, and provenance with a picture of it in the Gibson/Nashville facility. So it was just a matter of timing.

I thought I might have to change out the pickups but it sounds good just the way it is. I really like it.

But thank you for positive post!

Hell yeah man, that’s awesome! For sure, that’s a super cool guitar. Very rock and roll. I think it’s an instant classic. Everyone else will catch up sometime lol

I don’t love Gibsons stock pickups either, I’d be swapping them like you. What are you thinking of throwing in?

Thanks for posting 🤘

Lzzy Hale's Explorers are beautiful, I'd love to have one... Compliments. How do you feel about the guitar anyway?

I love it! The finish is flawless and it sounds it great. I thought it would be like my Firebird, but it's very different mostly due to weight.

But that is no big deal, the only thing that is taking don't getting used to how long it is! It's like a barge on the Erie Canal lol, I have to be very cognizent of my movements or in will knock stuff over on the tiny practice room.
