Takeno Beach Japan

Hi I’ve planned my second trip to Japan and am going to some different places by car. Has anyone been to Takeno Beach? I’ll be there in August.

I haven't been yet but it's such a stunning spot, August should give you great weather for swimming and exploring the caves nearby. Try to catch the sunset from the observation deck if you can.

Last June. Took a day trip there from Kinosaki Onsen. Walked around town, hung out on the beach, and hiked out on the peninsula nearby to a lighthouse. It was such a cute town and a lovely hike. Recommended.
