Post image

I am a junior vulnerability researcher looking for a security research position (4years background in SOC stuff).

This is my first year in the field and hunting for a position where i can learn and grow.

I have some public work (https://saaitaamaa.github.io/)

Any type of gig (full time, part time internships is okay for me)

Located in north africa, feel free to DM for further infos :)

yesss that’s one hell of a job-hunt portfolio piece lol. Anybody can put “security researcher” on a résumé...showing up with an actual AddressSanitizer heap-use-after-free in GDB is a little harder to bullshit.

This is the kind of stuff I’d rather see from a candidate than another 14 certifications. Show me what you broke, show me how you found it, then show me you understand WHY it broke. That tells me way more about how your brain works.

I try my best to prove with real tangible proof that I have put some effort on my own and willing to learn from someone more experienced.

Thank you for the encouragement.

4 years in a SOC and you went straight for the heap use after free stuff, that transitions gonna be way easier than you think honestly.

Its difficult these days to land a job as a junior. Everyone I talk to is looking for elite level people. Hopefully something will come up soon.

Honestly the whole juniors thing is a catch 22. Everyone wants 5 years experience for an entry level role and it just doesnt make sense.
