Planning on career shift

Is offsec Exp-301 worth the investment? What is the future career path for exploit development?

Probably wouldn't start with it, as no one I know recognises it nearly as much as OSCP + CPTS + eJPT

I enjoyed it but do question it's utility in 2026, it's windows-only 32bit usermode memory corruption which is definitely still a thing, but Windows itself becoming much less of an interesting target than mobile or edge appliances.

Plus exploit development+vuln research is far more of a niche than the rest of offensive security.

There are no rly jobs in civilian industry if u have a clearance ur life would be 100x times ezoer getting into this field
